The Battle of the Beasts marketing campaign was built around three beers that I designed & illustrated known as the Monsters of IPA: Batsquatch Hazy IPA, Gumberoo IPA, & Colossal Claude Imperial IPA. Together with the team, we created seven animated shorts encouraging people to try all three and vote for a winner. The campaign was successful enough to attract attention, and a cease and desist letter, from Monster Beverage Corporation. We found out why when they acquired CANarchy Craft Brewery Collective and released an alcoholic energy drink called Beast. We took it as a compliment.
